Wyvern Warrior - Tech. Sgt. David Walker

This week’s Wyvern Warrior is Tech. Sgt. David Walker, advanced medium-range air-to-air missile section chief at the 31st Munitions Squadron at Aviano AB, Italy. Originally from San Antonio, Texas, Walker has been in the Air Force for almost 15 years. Walker is responsible for maintaining Aviano’s missiles and delivering them to the fleet. He has also led his flight in program standardization, which enabled training targeted at eliminating deficiencies and improving interoperability. Additionally, Walker’s favorite movie is Stepbrothers and his favorite band is Five Finger Death Punch. Walker’s hero is his mother, and a hardship that he faced was the passing of his father. He believes that people should live each day like it’s their last because they never know when it’s their time to go. Walker’s personal motto is “If a job’s worth doing, it’s worth doing well.” Finally, if you know Walker you know that he enjoys working on and detailing cars. His favorite car is his 2011 Chevy Camaro. Walker you are doing an incredible job! Keep up the great work! (U.S. Air Force photo by Tech. Sgt. Robert Waggoner).
