Polcenigo, Italy -- Members of the 31st Civil Engineer Squadron Fire Department visited a Polcenigo elementary school to teach children about fire safety, May 31, 2017. The team brought a fire truck, Sparky the fire dog, and several pieces of firefighting equipment. The firefighters performed safety demonstrations in both English and Italian for the children during an English after-school program. After the demonstrations, children were able to climb inside the fire truck before being served refreshments and snacks.
