Destinations: Tenerife
The first stop of our trip was to picturesque Masca. Despite a well-established road system, the drive to Masca was a bit daunting due to the road’s windy nature. Unless you’re used to driving through mountains, I suggest taking it slow and steady. Once we reached the village, located at the foot of Teno Massif, one of Tenerife’s three volcanic formations, we came to the unanimous decision that the drive was well worth it—it was gorgeous! In addition to the beautiful landscape, the village offers a variety of cafes and restaurants. If you do get the chance to visit, I suggest giving their cactus lemonade a try.
