AVIANO AIR BASE, Italy -- Airman First Class Fred D Abrams IV, an Airman assigned to the 31st Security Forces Squadron here, died following a single car accident in Roveredo in Piano on May 14.
“Fred’s death is a tragic loss. Our Defender Family with the 31st Security Forces Squadron at Aviano is deeply saddened by his passing,” said Lt. Col. Jesse Goens, 31st Security Forces Squadron Commander. “Our thoughts are with Fred’s family, friends and co-workers. We are doing everything possible to support them while we navigate this difficult time together.”
The cause of the accident is currently under investigation by Italian authorities.
