Senior leadership announcement
Senior leadership announced new assignments for general officers. Brig. Gen. Jon A. Norman will be assigned as the Director, Operations, Plans and Programs, Headquarters Pacific Air Forces, Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, HI. His replacement Brig. Gen. Barre R. Seguin, Inspector General, Headquarters Air Combat Command, Joint Base Langley-Eustis, VA is scheduled to take command in June.

Vehicle shipping changes, delays
Due to the upcoming vehicle shipping contract expiration, members who are permanently changing stations in May are advised to ship their vehicle as soon as possible due to possible delays. The current contractor, TRANSCAR, may not book vehicle shipments past April 30. For more information, contact the Traffic Management Office at 632-4677.
National Library week, April 13-19

The 31st Fighter Wing Legal Office blotter is intended to keep members of the Team Aviano community informed of legal actions and associated punishments each month. Parking at baseball, softball fields
During the baseball and softball season, players are reminded they are only allowed to park on paved roads or the fitness center parking lot adjacent to the fields. Driving will not be allowed between fields or inside the complex. For more information, call 632-7459.

Overseas Housing Allowance survey
The Overseas Housing Allowance and Maintenance survey is now available until April 23. Weekend massage appointments available

Teen weight training program
The Falcon Fitness Center hosts a free teen weight training Monday through Fridays from 3 to 4:30 p.m. Teens, ages 13-17, must sign and submit a rules and contract form with parent's approval to participate. Participants can workout and receive special instruction or help from recreation aid and fitness specialists without the escort of a parent. For more information, call 632-7574.
Veterinarian clinic delays, payment changes
Now through May, the Aviano Veterinary Treatment Facility will be implementing and training on a new web-based record keeping system. During this time, customers may experience longer appointments and wait times as well as reduced availability of appointments. As of April 1, cash will not accepted as a form of payment. Italian Mensa lunch
The Italian Mensa is open to all of Team Aviano from 11 a.m. to 1:45 p.m. during week days in Bldg. 1467, behind the Housing Office on Area F. The Mensa offers a weekly rotating menu of pasta, seafood, chicken, beef, soup, risotto and more. On Mondays and Fridays they offer equal dollar for euro pricing. Aviano Against Drunk Driving

Eagle Radio on FM 106.0
Tune in to FM 106.0 at 7 a.m. Wednesdays to hear the 31st Fighter Wing commander, command chief and other senior leaders talk live about what's going on in the wing and Air Force.
