In the tradition of taking care of its Airmen, Team Aviano has also opened its arms to their families. Aviano is a family-oriented installation that focuses more on ensuring that the base is a great place to work, live and play. The base is committed to meeting the needs of the community, thereby establishing programs that service Aviano family members.

tabCo-op Care
The Co-op Care program provides much needed networking, assistance and child care for stay-at-home parents. The program contributes to the well being of family members by allowing them credit for child care so they can maintain physical fitness, attend classes, socialize with other spouses, go to medical appointments or just get a much needed break. A parent volunteers their time to provide child care in a safe environment and in turn, earns credit toward child care for themselves. The Co-op Care program serves to supplement short term hourly care in a unfunded part-time child care facility that meets all Air Force standards with donated resources and volunteer time.
