Aviano Diamond Sharp Award
The Diamond Sharp Award is designed to recognize Aviano's best. Those Airmen who distinguished themselves through outstanding professionalism, impeccable appearance and a "can do" attitude. There is no preparation required to earn the award, one must only be noticed by their first sergeants as being among the best and brightest performers. This award also recognizes the "un-sung" hero -- Airmen who always go above an beyond the call of duty even if they do not get recognized. Members must epitomize service before self by working until the job is done and taking pride in their work. These Airmen strive for excellence both on and off duty, in the community and their personal lives.
