Camp offers children taste of deployed life
A brother and sister participants for the deployment camp pose for a picture with their welcome home sign and team flag at Aviano Air Base, Italy, Nov. 18. The base hosted a 2-day mock deployment camp for a group of 9 to 15-year-old kids to give them the feel of what their military family members go through during a deployment. More than 40 children participated in several different events from learning how to march to completing an obstacle course.
