Parachute riggers: It's pass or fail

Parachute riggers with the Headquarters and Headquarters Company 173rd Brigade Support Battalion wear red baseball caps as an identifier for rigger personnel at critical locations such as loading areas and drop zones. The unit supports seven battalions including 1st Battalion 503rd Airborne Infantry, 2nd Battalion Airborne Infantry, 1st Battalion 91st Airborne Cavalry, 4th Battalion 319th Airborne Field Artillery, 173rd Special Troops Battalion, 173rd BSB and Headquarters and Headquarters Company Brigade.
