Aviano's Finest - Airman Basic-Technical Sergeant Category
AVIANO AIR BASE, Italy --
Name: Senior Airman Cassandra Bryant
Unit: 31st Operations Group
Duty Title: Knowledge Operations Management
How long have you worked for the military? 6 years
Hometown City, State and/or Country: Jackson, MS
How do you support the 31st Fighter Wing mission? I provide knowledge operations support to the 31st Operations Group with duties that include: functional area records management, SharePoint management, and information assurance.
What's one thing you've learned about Italy's history, people and culture? Through Italian culture I've learned to slow down, take time out for the family and not spend so much time working. They seem to get everything done within an 8 hour work day with a 2 hour rest period included.
What's one advantage of being stationed overseas? Being able to meet people from different cultures and backgrounds is really nice and standing at actual landmarks and sites that I've studied in the past is a great opportunity that I'm grateful to have been able to experience.
What's your favorite European destination and why? My favorite destination is definitely England. It's really modern, there's a lot of shopping, and it has that "city never sleeps" vibe of the states.
