31 AMDS test for high-quality H2O

AVIANO AIR BASE, Italy --   The 31st Aerospace Medicine Squadron Bioenvironmental Engineering section conducts routine water safety tests to ensure the base water is safe to consume at Aviano Air Base, Italy. Bioenvironmental engineering technicians use a variety of methods to check for harmful substances, such as viewing water samples under ultra-violet light or using a detection substance to check chlorine levels.
