AFI 35-101: Studio Photography.
Studio photography is by appointment only and available for official portraits as required by AFI as well as applications for special duty assignments, official passports, and citizenship applications. Chain-of-command studio photography will be provided for leadership at the squadron-level and above (commander, deputy/vice commander, senior enlisted leader, and first sergeant) as well as quarterly and annual award winners at the group-level and above. Electronic copies and one hard copy up to size 8x10 will be provided to the requestor.
The Air Force Form 833 is used to request video and/or photo support for events. Submit AF Form 833 to email@example.com. Submissions should be submitted at least two weeks prior to event to ensure coverage on your event.
Do not use government-funded VI resources to:
1. Provide personal souvenirs or gifts (e.g. farewell gifts).
2. Provide décor for individual personal office walls. Products for organizational areas may be provided depicting relevant missions performed.
3. Support or document farewell parties or social events unless certified as newsworthy or having historical significance by the base historian or chief of PA.
4. Create products used primarily for entertainment during farewell parties or social events.
5. Support Force Support Morale, Welfare, and Recreation (MWR) non-appropriated funded (NAF) missions.
Tours are conducted in coordination with the Italian Air Force. Base tours are offered to local civic organizations, schools and groups to educate people about the US Air Force and Aviano Air Base missions. Tours are free of charge and can be subject to last-minute cancellations due to mission requirements and resource availability. Public tours are available to groups of 10 to 40 people. We do not accommodate tour requests to combine different groups. Tours are given Thursdays only during the summer and fall months on a first-requested, first-served basis. All tours are approximately four hours in length.
Tour requests must be submitted no later than 60 days prior to the date of the tour. Requests must be submitted through the 31st Fighter Wing Public Affairs Office or with the Aviano Italian Air Force Public Affairs Office.
Groups are responsible for transportation large enough to carry the entire group in one vehicle. All buses/vans must arrive at the Area F South Gate for security processing. Buses will be met at the South Gate by a member from the Public Affairs office who will accompany the group onboard the bus and will remain with them for the duration of the tour.
All people on the tour must submit a copy of their Official Passport for background investigation by the Italian Air Force 30 days prior to the date of the tour. All tour participants must have a completed background check to gain access.
Cameras are allowed on the tour; however, there are some restrictions. Your tour guide will inform you of these restrictions.

To add information to an Aviano All email, send requests to firstname.lastname@example.org by 11 a.m. each Thursday. Any additions received after that deadline will appear in the next weeks consolidated email.
The Public Affairs office is responsible for the Aviano App. Submit updates to App information to email@example.com.
