AVIANO AIR BASE, Italy -- AVIANO AIR BASE, Italy - U.S. Air Force F-16 Fighting Falcon aircraft and Airmen assigned to the 510th Fighter Squadron, 31st Fighter Wing, Aviano Air Base, Italy, are participating in the bilateral-training exercise, Buzzard ACE, with Slovenian armed forces at Cerklje Air Base, Slovenia. During the exercise, U.S. and Slovenian Armed Forces will conduct Agile Combat Employment training to enhance the ability to rapidly deploy to and operate from remote locations while executing local command and control of forces in the region. These bilateral training exercises and deployments are designed to enhance partner interoperability, maintain joint readiness, and assure U.S. regional allies.
