Brig. Gen. Jason E. Bailey is the Commander, 31st Fighter Wing, Aviano Air Base, Italy. He commands the only permanently assigned U.S. Air Force fighter aircraft wing in NATO’s Southern Region. His staff assignments include the Headquarters Air Force Staff and the Joint Staff. He has flown combat missions in support of operations in Bosnia, Kosovo, Iraq, Libya and Afghanistan.
