AVIANO AIR BASE, Italy -- Team Aviano members and local Italians gathered for the 11th Annual Breast Cancer Awareness Walk at Aviano Air Base, Italy, March 18, 2017. The event started with a memorial walk followed by a 5K color run where participants could run through pink powder. More than 500 participants helped raise over $12,000 for the Centro di Riferimento Oncologico, a local oncology referral center, and The Rose, a non-profit mobile mammography bus that offers exams and treatments to underprivileged women in the Houston area.
