The 31st Medical Group supports the readiness of 31st Fighter Wing and associated units throughout the Southern Region, ensuring the health of its community by providing optimal patient-focused medical care from internal, Department of Defense and Host Nation resources. The unit employs medical resources and preventive initiatives to ensure the human weapons system remains mission ready to support the Expeditionary Air Force, U.S. and NATO objectives worldwide.
The 31st Dental Squadron integrates community-based preventive dental services and utilizes all dental resources to enable peak mission readiness and sustained performance.
The 31st Dental Squadron consists of three flights, including Clinical Dentistry, Dental Support and Dental Laboratory. The 31st Dental Squadron provides approximately 22,000 patient visits annually to almost 8,700 beneficiaries. Services offered include Comprehensive General Dentistry, specialty care in Orthodontics, Pediatric Dentistry, Periodontics and full-service Dental Laboratory.
The 31st Medical Operations Squadron provides approximately 36,000 outpatient visits annually to almost 8,700 beneficiaries. Services offered include Pediatrics, Family Practice, Internal Medicine, Allergy and Immunizations, Mental Health, Family Advocacy, Educational and Developmental Intervention Services, Digital Radiology and Mammography, Ultrasound, Drug Demand Reduction, Alcohol Drug Abuse Prevention and Treatment program, and a full-service Laboratory.

The 31st Medical Support Squadron provides resource management (financial and manpower), TRICARE (health plans management), patient administration, medical logistics, medical readiness, medical information services, personnel and administration, pharmacy services and clinical laboratory services, in support of the 31st Medical Group and the readiness of the 31st Fighter Wing and associated units. It supports 8,700 eligible beneficiaries by providing optimal patient-focused medical care.
The 31st Surgical Operations Squadron is made up of three flights: Surgical Services, Multi-Service Inpatient Unit, and Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN). The Surgical Services Flight consists of the general surgery, orthopedics, ear, nose and throat (ENT) specialties which operate in a three-room state-of-the-art operating suite comprised of nurse anesthetists, operating room nurses and surgical technicians and a Same Day Surgical Unit. The OB /GYN flight opened a modern Women's Health Clinic in March of 2008 and cares for a wide variety of women's health issues including complete obstetrical care and gynecology care to care of the menopausal woman. The Multi-service Inpatient Flight supports an inpatient census up to 11 patients, offering inpatient treatment of surgical, medical, pediatric, and psychiatric conditions.
