11/7/2011 - AVIANO AIR BASE, Italy -- Nine Aviano senior master sergeants celebrated their selection for promotion to chief master sergeant, the highest U.S. Air Force enlisted rank, with family, friends and coworkers Nov. 4 during a party at La Bella Vista Club.

The Air Force board selected 487 of 2,201 eligible senior master sergeants for promotion for a selection rate of 22.13 percent.

The Aviano selectees are:

Thomas Bathe, 31st Civil Engineer Squadron

Malcom Crump Jr., 31st Munitions Squadron

Enrique Flores, 31st Logistics Readiness Squadron

Jeffrey Huber, 31st Munitions Squadron

Divina Jones, 31st Medical Support Squadron

Joseph Moody, 31st Logistics Readiness Squadron

Robert Regan, 31st Communications Squadron

Ruben Vazquez, 31st Medical Operations Squadron

Ordena Willis, 724th Air Mobility Squadron

Richard Hammond, inbound from U.S. Naval Station, Rota, Spain

Jeffrey Hernquist, inbound from Osan Air Base, South Korea
