Colonel Anthony Bryant is Commander of the 31st Maintenance Group, Aviano Air Base, Italy. The 31st Maintenance Group maintains combat capability for 56 combat-coded F-16C/D and HH-60 aircraft valued at $2.4B, and provides force infrastructure support for 1,600 military and civilian personnel assigned to six squadrons, including one Geographically Separated Unit at Camp Darby. Additionally, the group manages Europe’s largest munitions stockpile of 3.94 million items valued at $598 million.
Colonel Bryant was commissioned as a distinguished graduate through the AFROTC program in 2004. His experience encompasses installation tours of duty in the United States, Europe, and the Pacific, including Department of Air Force and Air Education and Training Command Headquarters, as well as an Air Force Personnel Staff position. He has commanded at the squadron level and deployed in support of Operations IRAQI and ENDURING FREEDOM in Turkey, Turkmenistan, and Afghanistan. He also supported combat operations from Aviano Air Base, Italy during Operations ODYSSEY DAWN and UNIFIED PROTECTOR. Prior to his current position, the Colonel was the Chief, Maintenance Force Development, A4LM, Pentagon, Washington D.C.
