Wyvern Warrior Team Preventive Dentistry Team

For this week’s Wyvern Warrior Team, we honor the 31st Dental Squadron Preventive Dentistry Team. They are Aviano’s direct link to dental readiness. The team has been trained as Oral Preventive Assistants (OPAs). Additionally, each year every active duty member is required to have a dental examination and cleaning to be cleared, and it is the primary duty of the Preventive Dentistry Team to clean each member’s teeth. They also educate patients on how to maintain proper oral health. The Dentistry Team ensures the 31 FW is dental ready! Taking care of more than 4,000 service members can be difficult, but the Preventive Dentistry Team smiles in the face of a challenge. The 31st Fighter Wing has a 99% dental readiness rate due to the outstanding work by these men and women. With a 98% satisfaction rating, the team makes sure that patients always leave happy.
