Wyvern Warrior- Staff Sgt. Kisha L. Lee
This week’s Wyvern Warrior is Staff Sgt. Kisha L. Lee, a 31st Medical Operations Squadron non-commissioned officer in charge, installation personnel readiness at Aviano AB, Italy. Originally from Greenville, South Carolina, Lee has been in the Air Force for seven years. Dedicated, motivated and passionate are three words that describe Lee. Lee’s readiness expertise was key during home station readiness training where she educated 22 Force Support Airmen on seven Personnel Support for Contingency Operations PERSCO programs and nine core tasks, catapulting the readiness rates for the 31st FSS and two Air National Guard units. Additionally, her favorite movie is “Friday” and her favorite musician is David Banner. A hardship that she has faced is finding the discipline to complete and pursue a higher education. Her personal motto is “Seek opportunities, not obstacles.” Also, Lee’s inspiration is Dr. Umar Johnson, because he is willing to take a stand by rectifying the injustice of African-American children with a misdiagnosis of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder. Moreover, Lee’s defining moment was accepting and loving herself. Finally, if you know Lee, you know that she loves her natural hair, because she takes pleasure in styling it herself. Lee, you are doing an incredible job! Keep up the great work!
