U.S., Bulgarian Airmen strengthen partnerships during Thracian Star 2012

Airmen 1st Class Jarryd Burke and Joshua Gibbons, 31st Munitions Squadron conventional maintenance crew chief and storage crew member respectively, build a bomb May 19 at Graf Ignatievo Air Base, Bulgaria, in support of exercise Thracian Star 2012. The munitions, aircraft maintenance and maintenance operations squadrons worked jointly during the exercise, building and loading bombs and ammunition to be used for air-to-ground sorties, during which 536 bombs were dropped and 9,250 rounds of 20 millimeter ammunition were expelled at the local range.
