Aviano hosts 9/11 commemoration ceremony
Members of the 31st Fighter Wing Honor Guard lower the American flag during a 9/11 commemoration ceremony Sept. 9 at the Fire department. A ceremony was held in remembrance of the victims during the 9/11 attacks. The ceremony commemorated the 10th anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks that claimed the lives of nearly 3,000 innocent people at the World Trade Center, Shanksville, Penn., and Pentagon.
