Team Aviano hosts National Prayer Luncheon
Col. G. Scott Henry, Jr., United States Air Forces in Europe command chaplain, speaks during this year’s National Prayer Luncheon March 18 at the La Bella Vista Club. The tradition of a National Prayer Observance goes back to the inauguration of prayer groups by Congress in 1942. At the National Prayer Luncheon, representatives from Hebrew, Christian and Islamic religions, prayed on behalf of our nation, the military and all personnel.
