Honorary Squadron Commander Induction Ceremony

Brig. Gen. C.Q. Brown Jr., 31st Fighter Wing commander, (right), welcomes Col. Luca Cappelli, the Pagliano e Gori Airport commander, to the 31st FW Honorary Squadron Commander social held at the La Bella Vista Club on Area F of Aviano Air Base, Italy, Nov. 5, 2010. The brief social allowed the HSC nominees to mingle with their respective unit commanders prior to the day’s events beginning. This was the first time Colonel Cappelli had taken part in the HSC program in which 11 Italians were inducted into that afternoon. The HSC program began at Aviano AB in 1997.
