Bronze Star Medal Presentation

Tech. Sgt. David Albanese, 31st Logistics Readiness Squadron, non-commissioned officer in charge of vehicle maintenance customer service, is presented the Bronze Star Medal by Brig. Gen. C.Q. Brown Jr., 31st Fighter Wing commander, Nov. 03, 2009, at the community center on Aviano Air Base, Italy. Sergeant Albanese received the medal for his professionalism and acts of valor on the field of battle during his deployment March 23, 2007 thru March 15, 2008. While deployed in support of Operation ENDURING FREEDOM, he served as the vehicle maintenance NCOIC for a Provincial Reconstruction Team in Qalat, Zabul Province, Afghanistan.
