Aviano participates in Paris Air Show

An F-16 Fighting Falcon from the 555th Fighter Squadron was on display from June 18-24 at the Paris Air Show. Nearly 200,000 visitors walked the tarmac at Le Bourget, France. Seven Department of Defense aircraft were on static display during the show including a C-17 Globemaster, C-130J Hercules, F/A-18 Super Hornet, F-15E Strike Eagle, HH-60 Pave Hawk and a Predator unmanned aerial vehicle. U.S. military participation in the Paris Air Show demonstrates the U.S. commitment to international security, promotes international cooperation and contributes to U.S. foreign and security policy objective.
