Alpini 7K

More than 135 Italian and American runners take part in the annual 7-kilometer run at Piancavallo, Italy, Aug. 2, 2009. The event, hosted by the Alpini alumni association, required each three-person team member to individually run the 7K mountainous loop. Once finished, the individual times were added together for the total team time. Eleven teams from the 31st Fighter Wing competed in the event. (U.S. Air Force photo/Tech. Sgt. Michael O'Connor)
