An F-16's paint job
Airman 1st Class Brandon Detter, 31st Maintenance Squadron aircraft structural maintenance, covers a newly painted panel on an F-16 Fighting Falcon May 5, 2009, to protect it from getting debris or other colors of paint on it. Once an F-16 is first painted, it receives an additional painting three years later and is stripped down to bare metal and repainted at the six-year-mark. This process repeats itself throughout the life of the airframe. (U.S. Air Force photo/Airman 1st Class Ashley Wood)
