Carnevale
MANIAGO, Italy: An American and Italian girl take part in the festivities held during the "Canevale Dei Ragazzi: 45 Giri" held in Maniago Feb. 22. Confetti lined the city streets along the parade route and town square where music, games, food and wine were available to event goers. Carnevale is held every year in February and lasts nearly two weeks. A more well known festival is the "Carnevale di Venezia" where thousands of people cram themselves together in the famous St. Mark's Square in Venice. (U.S. Air Force photo/Tech. Sgt. Michael O'Connor)
