173rd Airborne Brigade Jumpers
AVIANO AIR BASE, Italy: Four Air Force C-130 Hercules sit in waiting at the base of the Dolomite Mountains Feb. 9 for a contingent of Soldiers from the 173rd Airborne Brigade, referred to as jumpers. Based out of Ramstein Air Base, Germany, the Air Force teams-up with the Army to conduct joint training several times a year to maintain Soldier profeciency in static-line jumps.
