173rd Airborne Brigade Jumpers
AVIANO AIR BASE, Italy: Soldiers from the 173rd Airborne Brigade, referred to as jumpers, practice checking their parachutes for entanglements Feb. 10 outside the Personnel Alert Holding Area located on Area F. Once these Soliders jump from aircraft, they check their chutes to ensure it deployed properly. The PAHA is used by the Army for sustained airborne training that is required prior every jump.
