On the prowl
AVIANO AIR BASE, Italy -- Staff Sgt. Larry Brown, 31st Security Forces Squadron military working dog handler, and his MWD Rico search luggage for explosives during a public demonstration May 14. With an acute sense of smell five to 10 times stronger than a human's, working dogs are able to detect minute traces of explosives or drugs and alert their handlers of their presence.
