The Baker's Wife

AVIANO AIR BASE, Italy -- Frank Lewandowski, as the baker Aimable, and Elaine Baziotis as the bakers wife, Genevieve, confess their love for each other during a dress reahearsal of "The Baker's Wife" March 19. The Aviano Community Theater presents, "The Baker's Wife," at 7 p.m. March 21, 22, 28, 29 and at 2 p.m. March 30 at the High School main stage. Tickets are sold at the door: $8 for adults and $5 for E-4 and below and students. The endearing but contentious inhabitants of a rural village in Provence, France, have been without a baker for seven weeks. Aimable, the baker, arrives with his young wife Genevieve and everything seems delicious again - until a young, strapping local handyman seduces Genevieve away from her older husband.
