Military I.D. card holders can lap swim uninterrupted Monday through Friday from 6-8 a.m. Base swimmers can also swim at no charge during normal open-to-the-public hours on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 6:30 to 8 p.m., Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m., and on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The evening swim session is typically quite crowded while the mid-day session usually has open lanes. These pool hours are only available to base swimmers at no charge the week following Labor Day weekend and run through the week of Memorial Day weekend. The pool is closed during Italian holidays. Flip flops and swim caps are mandatory in the pool area. The pool is located on Via E. Di Colloredo in Aviano, three blocks past the Grey Mall on the left side of the road headed toward the mountain highway.
