Memorial Dedication Ceremony

Artist Sonia Tadiotto constructed a memorial site in remembrance of the Nov. 8, 2007 UH-60 Helicopter crash victims of Santa Lucia di Piave, Italy. Members of the Aviano Air Base and Santa Lucia di Piave communities gathered to honor both those vicitms of the crash and the thousands of Italians who lost their lives in the Piave River during World War I on Nov. 8.
