Open Day in Pordenone

Col. David Slade, the 31st Mission Support Group Commander, and Lt. Col. Bo Bloomer, the 31st Civil Engineer Squadron commander, both assigned to Aviano Air Base, Italy, react to the opening performance by the Ariete Brigade Brass Band, Oct. 19, 2008, in Pordenone. The band opened the “Let’s Meet in Pordenone” event which attracted thousands of people from neighboring communities to the downtown Pordenone area.
