7th Annual Italian-American Friendship Festival
AVIANO AIR BASE, Italy -- A local band entertains attendees of the 7th Annual Italian-American Friendship Festival Sept. 14 in Fontanafredda, Italy. More than 1,000 local Italians, Aviano Airmen and their families attended this year's festival, which is hosted by the Aviano Honorary Squadron Commanders’ Association. This year’s event included a special Sept. 11, 2001 remembrance ceremony, games, dancing, band performances, military displays and reveille and retreat ceremonies.
