Inside the wash rack
Airman 1st Class Brandon Frazier, 31st Aircraft Maintenance Squadron, places protective tape on parts of an F-16 that cannot become wet before he begins washing it Sept. 9 in the base wash rack. If water leaks in, electrical damage can occur. The Aviano F-16 fleet is routinely washed every six months or as needed to maintain professional looking and corrosion-free aircraft.
