MEDFLAG team cares for thousands of patients

Hundreds of Malians line up to be seen by the MEDFLAG 08 medical team July 24, 2008 in a village outside of Bamako, Mali. Throughout the MEDFLAG exercise, the medical team visited four villages, trained more than 160 doctors, medics and nurses, saw more than 4,000 patients, extracted about 600 teeth, treated 4,100 goats and sheep, and conducted the first-ever mass casualty exercise in Mali.
