Fire suppression system
Foam from high-expansion foam generators falls to the ground in Hangar 1 during a systems check, June 18, 2014, at Aviano Air Base, Italy. In the event of a fire, the foam works to separate the flame source from the fuel surface and then begins to cool the fuel and surrounding metal surfaces for recovery.
