Aviano Sports Medicine Triathlon

Tech. Sgt. Matt Mayo, 31st Contracting Squadron, transitions from the swimming portion of the Aviano Sports Medicine Triathlon to the 16 kilometer biking segment of the event, June 14, 2014, at Aviano Air Base, Italy. During the competition, participants swam 500 meters, biked 16 kilometers and ran a 5k. More than 30 individuals competed, ranging in age from 9 to 53 years old. The overall winning female was Jessica Sanchez with a time of 1:08:33 and the overall winning male was Jackie Sanders with a time of 54:09. (U.S. Air Force photo/Tech. Sgt. Eric Donner)
