Istanbul: A modern Middle-Eastern getaway
Turkish rugs are a staple commodity within Istanbul and various other parts of Turkey. If you're not sure what 'authentic' rugs look like, there are various venders who will proudly demonstrate by putting a lighter to their tightly-woven rugs to show how it doesn't burn, or flipping over the rug to show how the colors don't bleed.
