Newly installed solar panels save Aviano money
Solar water-heating panels for the new dormitories on Aviano Air Base, Italy, are comprised of 62 panels and were completed after two months of construction. This renewable energy initiative will offer the new dormitories approximately 10,000 liters of hot water production capacity, while saving the base approximately $4,000 a year.
