In September, Airman 1st Class Abbey Whittaker, 31st Fighter Wing broadcast journalist, competed in Milan, Italy, during the 2013 CrossFit Fall Series, where she placed 4th overall in the female division. During the two-day event, Whittaker was challenged not only physically, but mentally to complete seven workouts that consisted of cardio, strength and endurance. (U.S. Air Force photo Staff Sgt.
