Oktoberfest
Oktoberfest is a 16-day festival beginning the third week in September, and hosts more than 6 million visitors each year. Known to locals as “die Wies’n”, Oktoberfest has inspired cities all over the world to hold their own festivals modeled after the original in Munich. The first celebration was held in 1810.
