Heartlink Event

Staff Sgt. Samuel Spaethe, 31st Comptroller Squadron financial services supervisor, explains the leave and earnings statement to spouses at “Heartlink,” Aug. 28, 2014, at Aviano Air Base, Italy. Heartlink is an introductory course catered specifically to spouses of base personnel. During the finances briefing, Spaethe explained out of state taxes, basic allowances overseas and deductions they may see on the LES throughout their tour.
