Powerlifting through faith, strength

Staff Sgt. Ashley Bryant, 31st Fighter Wing Command Post emergency action controller, recently broke the national record for bench press while home for the holidays, in Illinois. Since departing for the military, the Tulsa, Oklahoma native has competed in 7 additional competitions and received first place in all of them, to include one competition’s ‘Best lifter award’, which calculates her total weight -- 165 -- to the final amount of pounds she lifted during all three events – 826.1.
