Air Force volunteer web application traces roots to Aviano
Retired U.S. Air Force Senior Master Sgt. Shon Wagner, 31st Force Support Squadron community readiness specialist, launched a volunteer web application in January 2014 to help local community members track volunteer hours more efficiently. After the release, more than 28,000 volunteer hours were successfully recorded at Aviano Air Base, Italy. Wagner’s innovation will soon serve as the Air Force’s core volunteer application for service members and families to use. (U.S. Air Force photo by Senior Airman Matthew Lotz/Released)
