Fuel systems

U.S. Air Force Senior Airman Andrew Moody, 31st Maintenance Squadron aircraft fuels system journeyman, repairs an F-16 Fighting Falcon F1 fuel tank bladder leak, Feb. 11, 2015, at Aviano Air Base, Italy. The F1 tank holds more than 1,000 pounds of jet fuel. The bladder serves as a barrier between the pilot and fuel to prevent potential leaks that may affect the pilot and damage the aircrafts electrical system.
