Optometry
U.S. Air Force Capt. Sean Berensen, 31st Aerospace Medicine Squadron optometrist, examines the eyes of Tech. Sgt. Joel Ives, 31st AMDS optometry NCOIC, July 7, 2015, at Aviano Air Base, Italy. The optometry clinic conducts 300 eye exams every month. They check for any changes in each patient’s eyesight and perform procedures to identify any diseases a patient may have at the earliest stage possible.
